The Future is Orange
SKS Germany employs a workforce of 400 people at its bicycle headquarters in Sundern, and an additional 700 employees across its three combined divisions. The company's bicycle business is divided, with 43% of sales coming from aftermarket product sales and 32% from original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products.
Annually, SKS Germany produces an impressive 4.5 million full fenders, 2 million clip-on fenders, and 1.2 million bicycle pumps, totaling over 18,000 fenders and 3,200 pumps per day.
Revamping the Classics
In 2022, SKS revamped its full fender line, replacing the classic Chromoplastic Longboard and Commuter II fenders with the new Bluemels and Bluemels Style fenders. While both models are made using the same chromoplastic material, the Bluemels now feature black hardware and are available in a wider range of sizes. The Bluemels Style fenders boast a square profile design, double U Stay technology, a matte black finish, and a sleek, flexible spoiler on the front and rear.
