The Quickrelease Seatpost Mounting Fenders from SKS Germany feature an often imitated, never duplicated, cam-style mount. The seatpost mount allows you to quickly install and remove the fender without tools. The fastening system, invented in the 1980's by SKS Germany, is an iconic feature of quickrelease fenders.

The X-Blade Dark Rear Quickrelease Fender offers two points of adjustability to accommodate a wide range of frame geometries, making it perfect for suspension bikes. Its dual compound plastics are hard in the middle for durability and softer on the edges for flexibility. The quick release (cam-style) seatpost mount enables easy installation and removal of the fender.

Available in two versions - 26"/27.5" and 29er 27.5+ - the fenders provide coverage for a maximum tire width of 3.0". The 26"/27.5" version has a length of 550mm and weighs 228 grams, while the 29er/27.5+ version has a length of 620mm and weighs 239 grams. The seatpost mount is compatible with seatpost diameters up to 35mm, and the appropriate version is determined by the bicycle's wheel size.

In 2022, the SKS full fender line was revamped, with the classic Chromoplastic Longboard and Commuter II full fenders being replaced by the new Bluemels and Bluemels Style fenders. Both models are made using the same chromoplastic fender material, but the Bluemels now come with black hardware and are available in more sizes than before. The Bluemels Style fenders feature a square profile design, double U Stay technology, a matte black finish, and a sleek, flexible spoiler on the front and rear fender.
