All SKS items are still designed and produced in Sundern, Germany, with the company committed to innovating and delivering the highest-quality cycling accessories for years to come.
Employing 400 people at its bicycle headquarters in Sundern and over 700 employees across its three combined divisions, SKS Germany produces an impressive array of cycling products annually. This includes 4.5 million full fenders, 2 million clip-on fenders, and 1.2 million bicycle pumps, equating to over 18,000 fenders and 3,200 pumps per day.
In 2022, SKS revamped its full fender line, replacing the classic Chromoplastic Longboard and Commuter II models with the new Bluemels and Bluemels Style fenders. Both feature the same chromoplastic material, but the Bluemels now come with black hardware and are available in more sizes. The Bluemels Style fenders boast a square profile design, double U Stay technology, a matte black finish, and a sleek, flexible spoiler on the front and rear.
SKS continues to lead the market in clip-on fender options, providing a comprehensive range of commuting essentials for all types of riders, including e-bike users.
